The first "Cooperative Cup" was held in Tokunoshima.
On April 11, 2026, the "1st Kyodo Cup U-12 Soccer Festa & Dream Clinic" was held in Isen Town, Tokunoshima, Kagoshima Prefecture, organized by the Isen Town Soccer Federation and sponsored by Kyodo Co., Ltd.
The event included a soccer tournament with eight teams participating from both within and outside Tokunoshima, as well as a soccer clinic led by special guests, including former Japanese national team players.
Approximately 100 children participated in the Dream Clinic, led by former Japanese national soccer team player Keisuke Tsuboi, dribbling designer Masakazu Okabe (who boasts 2 million followers), and former Japanese national futsal team player Kotaro Inaba (currently working in the web marketing division of Kyodo Co., Ltd.). The children gained valuable learning and inspiration from witnessing the advanced techniques of top-class players, as well as their unwavering commitment to continuous challenge.
Furthermore, the following day, a "Lecture on Eye Care" was held by the developmental disability support group "Kinoko Nijiiro Club" and vision trainer Keisuke Arai, which also received significant interest and positive feedback from many participants. This event was held after a short preparation period of approximately three months since our initial visit in January of this year.
Thanks to the support of Mayor Ida of Isen Town, and the tremendous support and cooperation of the Isen Town Hall, the Tokunoshima Football Association, the Isen Town Football Federation, and many other related parties, we were able to successfully hold the event.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude.
Based on the philosophy that "more important than winning or losing, or skill level, is having fun and taking on challenges," the Cooperative Cup will continue to nurture and encourage children's "courage to challenge themselves."
Furthermore, this event was covered by many newspapers and media outlets, demonstrating the significant impact it received.
